Building on the set of principles developed by AOAV in collaboration with partner civil society organisations during the Civil Society Conference on Armed Violence (Amsterdam, January 2011), the working group on national reports on armed violence has developed an advocacy sheet that calls on states to develop comprehensive reports on armed violence, and to specifically support the inclusion of references to national reporting in the framework of the 2012 Review Conference of the UN Programme of Action on SALW.
