Andreas Kamm

The Danish Deming Group is a unit of the Danish Refugee Council responsible for carrying out humanitarian demining and armed violence reduction. Their programmes include firearms safety training, supporting local conflict resolution, and strengthening relationships between police and communities. They work in a range of countries including Kenya, Libya, and Somalia. The group is also a member of the Interim Committee for the Global Alliance on Armed Violence. Andreas Kamm is Secretary General of the Danish Refugee Council, having first become involved while teaching Danish to refugees at university.Andreas Kamm
