Charles Glass is a broadcaster, journalist and writer who has covered a large number of conflicts in the Middle East and Africa. He served as a correspondent for Newsweek and The Observer. He has made documentary films on Iraq and Lebanon focusing on military escalation and human rights abuses. While Glass was reporting in Beirut he was kidnapped by Hezbollah for 62 days, describing his experiences in his book “Tribes with Flags”.
