Juan Esteban Aristizábal Vásquez (commonly known as Juanes) is a Colombian musician and activist. Juanes founded the Mi Sangre Foundation to aid the victims of landmines and has performed concerts to raise awareness of landmines around the world. Juanes has performed free concerts in response to worldwide events, including the 2008 Andean diplomatic crisis, which 300,000 people attended. Juanes has been awarded the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres and in 2013 won a Grammy for Best Latin Pop Album.
