Maria Isabel Gutiérrez Martínez

Maria Isabel Guiterrez Martinez is the Director of the Colombian based Instituto de Investigación y Desarrollo en Prevención de la Violencia y Promoción de la Convivencia (CISALVA) based at the University of Valle. The institute produces research on violence prevention and working for social harmony. Martinez is also chair of the International Society for Violence and Injury Prevention, an organisation which brings together the science and civil society communities for the prevention of intentional injuries.
