The re-release of Grave of the Fireflies (Hotaru no haka) provides an opportunity to look back over the history of films about war. More specifically, AOAV would like to use this event to highlight our Top 10 Nuclear War films. These films demonstrate the horrific effects that the detonation of a nuclear bomb would cause. From catastrophic damage to cities, to horrifying physical and psychological effects on people, each of these films has something important to say about the dangers of nuclear warfare.
