Two AOAV researchers named in list highlighting next generation of leaders in humanitarian disarmament

Mines Action Canada today released their “30 under 30” list profiling young campaigners who are working to make a more just, peaceful and sustainable world.

Two of AOAV’s Explosive Violence Researchers, Henry Dodd and Robert Perkins, were named on the list for their work on explosive weapons.

Those chosen work on a wide variety of weapons issues including landmines, toxic remnants of war, arms control and cluster munitions.

“They are examples of what young campaigners can achieve and illustrative of the commitment, energy, excitement, knowledge and skills those under thirty can bring to humanitarian disarmament” said Paul Hannon, Executive Director of Mines Action Canada.
