Wojciech Jagielski is a Polish author primarily affiliated with Gazeta Wyborcza, although he has also contributed to the BBC, Le Monde, the Polish Press Agency and others.
His specialities include Africa, Central Asia, the Trans-Caucasus and the Caucasus. He has written a number of books on the wars in Afghanistan, Chechnya and Africa.
His awards include the Polish Journalists Association Award, the Warsaw Literary Premiere Award, the Józef Tischner Award and others.
