Jordan mortar attack – case study 2 – Mohammed Mahmoud Nahar Al-Zaibi

Screen Shot 2016-01-11 at 11.57.11On the 5th June, at 9.30 am – a few hours before the mortar struck the Hourani restaurant – the home of Mohammed Mahmoud Nahar Al-Zaibi was hit by an explosive projective. The projectile passed through the 3rd floor extension wall that they were building, penetrated three more interior walls before striking a corner in a living room where, normally, children slept.

 

The family still live in fear.

There was minor structural damage to the property and no financial assistance was given.

The home is about 4.5 km from the Syrian border.
