At 2pm on May 18, 2014, a mortar shell hit the home of Dr. Abdul Azeez Ali Al Khaza’leh. Striking the rooftop, it pass through one wall and was stopped by another roof wall. There was only a small amount of damage and no casualties. The doctor was informed the round was a 60mm mortar.
His home lies about 3.5 km from the Syrian border.
