Action on Armed Violence invites you to the launch event of our latest report, Explosive Violence Monitor 2021. This report quantifies the harm caused to civilians by the use of explosive weapons in populated areas (EWIPA), based on data gathered in AOAV’s Explosive Violence Monitoring Project.

We will present the data and trends of global explosive weapon use in 2021, a year which saw the Taliban gain control of Afghanistan, the intense bombardment of Occupied Palestinian Territories by Israeli armed forces, and an intensification of conflicts in Myanmar, Ethiopia, and Yemen.
Join us on Tuesday the 5th of April (10:00-11:00am BST) for an in-depth look at the global hotspots of EWIPA and data on the types of explosive weapons causing such harm.
