Biography
Anna Sophie den Ouden is the project manager of AOAV’s Global Mass Shooting Database. Anna Sophie works as a Junior Lecturer at Leiden University’s Institute of Security and Global Affairs, and as a Junior Researcher at Virtual Routes. She previously held roles at the Hague Centre for Strategic Studies and the United Nations Project Office on Governance. Anna Sophie holds an MA in International Studies from Seoul National University and a BSc in International Business from the University of Groningen. Alongside her work on gun violence, her research focuses on AI safety and human rights, cybersecurity, AI governance in the military domain, disinformation, and cyberwarfare.
