Location: Sanaa and Aden, Yemen
THe Danish Demining Group has worked in Yemen in collaboration with the Yemeni national mine action center, YEMAC, and other local partners.
They have been involved in the DDG delivery of mine risk eductation (MRE) to children and adults in the communities most affected by the presence of landmines/UXO and other ERW. This aims to prevent civilian deaths and injuries through raising awareness and promoting reporting.
They also provide assistance with weapons and ammunition management.
