The GICHD is an international organisation, headquartered in Geneva, that focuses on demining and other mine related issues such as mine risk education and training in demining.
GICHD has provided support to the MINURSO demining operations in Western Sahara, as well as to the Royal Moroccan Army, who are also involved in demining in Western Sahara.
GICHD assists the field management of both actors. Additionally, they provide support and training to MINURSO on information system management for mine action.
