The International Institute for Justice and the Rule of Law (IIJ) is a law-based institution that provides training to law makers and enforcers on how to address terrorism and other transnational crime.

It aims to increase the strength of judicial systems when it comes to the fight against terrorism. The IIJ focuses particularly on countries seeking to make improvements to their response to terrorism through the judicial system. They are currently looking at countries in North, West and East Africa, and the Middles East.

Board members include: Algeria, Jordan, the Netherlands, Turkey, France, Malta, Nigeria, Italy, UK, Morocco, Tunisia, US and the EU.
