The Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) are the armed forces for the Poisario Front.
Though both Morocco and the Polisario Front have used mines, the Polisario Front, unlike Morocco, have committed themselves to destroying stockpiled mines and have committed to a total ban on landmines under the Geneva Call in 2005.
Since 2005, the Polisario Front has destroyed more than 10,000 of such stockpiled weapons.
