SITA is a specialist in providing border management solutions across the globe. In March 2015, Oman contracted SITA, to provide a fully integrated border management system and the tools to manage, monitor and operate the borders effectively.
The system covers visa processing and security clearance, passenger processing and visitor information. This will be integrated into Oman’s existing border management solutions to provide better information about those coming into and exiting the country.
